Indian arm communities
Water access only
The communities of Indian Arm were originally only accessible by water. Again road access became available to some and families became year round residents. Cascade, Sunshine, Brighton Beach, Frames Landing and Thwaytes Landing are found on the west side of the Arm.
At the upper end of the Arm is Wigwam Inn. Currently an outpost for the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, the Inn has a long and interesting history. There are a number of photos in our Photo Archive (type wigwam in the Search box) and books in our office library.
