The area of Cove Cliff lies between Deep Cove and Dollarton. Steep slopes made building challenging. Wickenden Park is the highest point, surrounded by homes perched on the cliffs. Students from this area originally attended Roche Point School and later Burrard View School, until a new school was built, taking its name from the name of the area, Cove Cliff Elementary in 1990.
The Society acknowledges that the land of the Seymour Communities is the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We continue to learn and celebrate the culture, history, stories, and people of the Tsleil-Waututh.
