Deep Cove Heritage Society

Volunteer

Volunteers always welcome

The Deep Cove Heritage Society was established by a dedicated group of volunteers, many of whom are still with us today. We could not survive without our volunteers and we are calling on the next generation to volunteer their time to keep us moving forward.

We need your help in preserving the rich history of Deep Cove and the surrounding neighbourhoods east of the Seymour River.

We need workshop, event, and office assistance. Volunteers work with our Board and office Coordinator. Volunteer hours are very flexible and we will be happy to arrange times to suit your time.

We are looking for volunteers who are able to help plan and coordinate workshops for our members and the community.

We need help with our Photo Archive and would like a volunteer to help upload and categorize our large back log of digital pictures. Full support and training for our Archive program will be provided.

We would welcome anyone who is willing to help, or has experience with applying for grants and funding.

We also need members who are willing to participate in the Society’s board.

If you are interested in the stories and history of the East of Seymour area, we would love to talk to you.
