Our communities have always been home to interesting seniors with stories to tell!
Deep Cove Heritage Society has provided presentations to Seniors facilities in our area. Always of interest are the pictures and newspaper articles of the area in past days. With large screen shows, our presenters take a wide look at life as it was in the Seymour area.
It’s fun to look back at the events that were held. Regattas, parades, May Day dances, boat trips, and more.
From our newspaper archives, we can show just how much life has changed. Look at the price of groceries from our local stores!
Deep Cove Heritage volunteers are always willing to spend time with our community seniors who may not be able to attend events. We welcome the opportunity to hear their stories and connections to Deep Cove and the Seymour area.
