Roche Point

an evolving community

Roche Point is the point of land where Burrard Inlet splits to the two Arms. The first lumber mill, Cedarside, was established here. Development of this area was driven by the need for lumber. The original development plan in 1910 showed a large subdivision called Roslyn. The development never happened but the proposed street names, Keith Road and Roslyn Boulevard remained.
